Who we are, the community we serve, and how we connect East African youth across Russia and back home.

TAYRuCO is a youth-led organization that brings together East African students, professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives living in the Russian Federation. We provide a home away from home, a platform for collaboration, and a united voice for the East African Community in Russia.
We exist to harness the collective energy, skills, and cultural heritage of East African youth in Russia. Through community-building, mentorship, advocacy, and flagship initiatives such as conventions and cultural events, we work to strengthen regional integration, socio-economic development, and cultural diplomacy between Russia and the East African Community.

Celebrating and promoting East African cultural identities through music, dance, art, and cuisine. Promoting Swahili language within the diaspora and establishing Swahili House in Moscow (SHIM).

Strengthen the role of the diaspora as a bridge for knowledge transfer, investment, and cultural exchange between Russia and the East African Community. Empower youth leadership and create mentoring platforms.
Foster a sense of unity and shared identity among African youth, encouraging collaboration across national and cultural lines. Promote regional integration within the EAC framework.
Showcase the rich cultural diversity of EAC member states through music, dance, art, and cuisine. Promote Swahili language within the diaspora and in the Russian Federation.
Create opportunities for African youth to connect with peers, government representatives, NGOs, academic institutions, and private sector actors in Russia and beyond.
Promote business and investments in all major sectors between Russia and the East African Community, especially in youth-led spaces such as technology and innovation.
Become part of the TAYRuCO community of African youth, students, professionals, and partners from across the East African Community living in the Russian Federation.
